Driven by the winds of passion
And aroused by an ecstasy of an inner fire
I’ll have to admit
As my heart continues to blaze with desire
I’m totally in love with you

For every minute of every day
I treasure each moment frozen in time
As I anticipating new discoveries
To fuel my intoxication
Of visions danced to a lover’s melody

Remembrances of the world have faded
Replaced by a playground of freedom
Where inhibitions are nonexistent
And the fire burning inside my heart
Shall never be quenched but enjoyed

For my lips were meant to kiss your lips
To devour the warmth of your skin
As each touch explores new horizons
Playfully reminding the sacred truth
Of love danced to an endless song

How do you measure love?
Or give it clarity
For such is an endless challenge
Of countless frustration

Counting the ways portrayed
In poems such as this
Only seems to limit expressions
Exploding inside a heart

But the heart is weak
Compared to the mind and soul
Which base emotions
On a much deeper plane

For real love is a combination
Of everything within
Culminating in a unified believe
Of the meaning of true love

Loving today, tomorrow and forever

The future, a day which never comes
Much like tomorrow, which constantly moves
I believe today is the true forever
Much more suitable for a believer

So, why should I plan my future?
When today I can achieve love much better
Than chasing dreams which I can never catch
Or gain a minute in the match

Love for today and make it so
The future does not reflect on a past unfulfilled
With dreams chasing impossible goals
Sacrificed to such a beautiful love at hand

Today, I pledge my love
My heart and soul
To my beautiful mate
While it’s not too late

Kissing your lips so tenderly
I know our love is so
Snuggled within its warmth

Caressed by knowledge

Falling in love

Falling in love is a process
As opposed to having fell
Making it hard to guess
Or really know or tell

So why does love go on
And build from day to day
Is it infatuation?
Or did I hear you say?

It must be more
Than just a pretty smile
As the central core
Or a twinkle of an eye

Yes, our love is unique
And grows by sharing
And using the technique
Of endless infatuation

Whispering the colors of love across an endless sky
The morning blossoms
And radiates the passions that lie
Deep inside our homes

Growing in intensity with each passing moment
The colors clarify
And spread yielding only a hint
Of the sun’s impending fry

Finally climaxing in explosions captured by clouds
The heat and blazing light soon overtake
And replace infatuations with the power
And  strength of true love

The first time I saw your face
My world was born
Into such an incredible pace
I had to learn

The first time I smelled your scent
My senses were aroused
Into such passion I went
To the line I crossed

The first time I touched your hand
My heart did throb
Unto a distant land
I had to sob

The first time I kissed your lips
My soul did smile
Unto such depths
Measured only in miles

Until I hear the chime

Searching for love
Or the meaning thereof
Is like stretching above
The subtle confines of

Hope that never ends
Or peace obtained within
To yearnings you send
Unto the world again

Perhaps true love does exist
Simply because it does
Not to be hunted as an activist
But to be discovered as life goes
